ABOUT ME

Hi friends! My name is Brooke Ottaway, and I use she/her pronouns. I’m currently a four-year senior at Phillips Exeter Academy.

The goal of this website is to provide anyone, regardless of educational background and time constraints (due to work, home life, etc.), the opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+, especially transgender, ideology and culture through an intersectional lens.

There is a variety of resources available right on this site!

This website is an extension of my 501c3 Mirrored Image, Inc.

I sponsor the dancer-in-residence, Courtney Washington Balenciaga, at the Black Trans Femmes Arts Collective, who is featured at the Guggenheim Museum in 2022. I also sponsor voice therapy and lessons at the Transgender Voice Clinic at the University of Nevada, Reno.
